Account deletion and data rights
This public page explains the in-app deletion flow and how to request deletion without creating a website login or account portal. Once completed, account deletion is permanent and cannot be recovered.
In-app safety flow
Veloquence adds friction before permanent deletion so users have a clear chance to confirm, pause, or cancel.
The app first explains that account deletion removes the account and connected user data.
The user must type "DELETE" to confirm that the deletion request is intentional.
After confirmation, a visible 10-second timer starts before deletion is completed.
During the countdown, the user can cancel the deletion before it becomes permanent.
Open Settings > Account > Delete Account, review the warning, type "DELETE", then wait through the 10-second countdown or cancel before it finishes.
Email support@veloquence.dev from the email on the account with the subject "Delete my Veloquence account".
If deletion is not cancelled during the countdown, the account is permanently deleted, user data is removed, and the process cannot be reversed.
Some records may be kept where required for legal, security, fraud prevention, billing, tax, chargeback, dispute, or compliance reasons. Backups may take time to expire on their normal schedule.
Verified deletion requests are generally handled within 30 days. Backup copies may take up to 90 days to expire.
Deleting your Veloquence account may not automatically cancel Apple App Store, Google Play, or Stripe subscriptions. Cancel the subscription through the provider used for purchase to avoid future renewals.
